Random Lunacy: The Southern Tour

By Mike Everleth of Bad Lit - February 26, 2009

"What's the best way to promote a documentary about the world's cheeriest homeless guy? Why, you uproot yourself and take that film on the road! And that's just what directors Vic Zimet and Stephanie Silber are doing with their RANDOM LUNACY: videos from the road less traveled."

Random Lunacy to Follow in Poppa Neutrinos Travelin’ Footsteps

Eight states. Ten screenings. Twelve days. RANDOM LUNACY: videos from the road less traveled hits the road March 9, 2009, as one of twelve films selected for the SOUTHERN CIRCUIT TOUR OF INDEPENDENT FILMMAKERS. Originated by South Carolina Arts Commission in 1975, Southern Circuit provides communities across the South with a tour of highly talented independent filmmakers. Initially launched in three South Carolina cities, the film tour has visited more than 44 communities across the Southern United States. Since its inception, Southern Circuit audiences have seen over 200 films and have engaged filmmakers in post-screening discussions of the subjects and themes portrayed in their works.

Watch for the blog that will track this amazing journey!
